Deficiency: The existing well slab requires repair.
Technical Basis: Engineering Bulletin No.10 Chapter 2, E.9 SANITARY WELL SEAL AND SLAB.
A sanitary well seal with an approved vent shall be installed at the top of the well casing to prevent contaminated water or other material from entering the well. A slab should extend a minimum of 3 feet from the center of the well, be a minimum of 6 inches thick and slope away from the well a minimum of ¼ inch per foot.
Recommendation: Repair cracks around the well casing and the well slab to meet requirements.
