Our investigation determined that our sampler did not adequately flush the sample tap prior to sampling, also this location uses sampling tubes that attach to the meters to obtain samples, this was the samplers first time using without supervision. The original 4 samples were pulled on 11-09-22 and on 11-10-22 we received notice from our lab that all four samples showed presence for Total Coliform and absence for E. Coli. On 11-11-22 we pulled 15 repeat samples 3 of which returned on 11-12-22 presence for Total Coliform and absence for E. Coli. At all 3 of these sites the sampler had to remove the meter to obtain a sample. |
